25 Sep: Trip Meeting

The climb of Wheeler Peak, NM (13,161’) is coming up fast!  Columbus Day weekend will be here before you know it.  Initial planning meeting will be held at Kirtland AFB Outdoor Recreation on Griffin Ave, this Thursday, 25 Sep at 1800.  Please join us to learn more about USAF 50 Summits and how you can be a part of it!  We have obtained sponsorship to help defray costs of all participants E-4 and below, and the cost for all others should be nominal.  We will camp two nights at the trailhead in Taos Ski Valley. Even if you don’t have previous camping experience, don’t worry…we’ll help you sort it out.  Come join your fellow Airmen in tackling the highest point in NM, to show your AF pride and build resiliency!
