Transportation: Base/State teams need to coordinate their own transportation. We will need drivers to shuttle vehicles from the bottom to the top of Mt Mitchell on Saturday.
What to bring: There is no technical climbing involved, so typical day hiking garb such as rain gear, good hiking shoes/boots, a day pack with water and trail snacks, first aid kit, etc. Those camping in the group sites should bring tents, sleeping bags, etc. See your Outdoor Rec for supplies you may need. We will need to share tents as much as possible so we don't overflow the group sites.
Meals: If we get some coordinators to put together group meals, we will offer that option for a fee. If we do not get some folks to help on this, then everyone will need to plan on bringing food on your own or with your base team.
