Kansas down, six to go! It was a quick start to our big seven state Columbus Weekend Blitz.

A group of AF Reserve Airmen set out before the crack of dawn for Mt Sunshine with their families. It was a perfect day to reach the geographical high-point of Kansas state. We are awaiting a trip report with details of their fun, but it's fair to say this photo sums it up: SUCCESS!

Ready for a massive weekend for the USAF 50 Summits Challenge??  Columbus Weekend is going to set the bar high.  We have several state high-point trips this weekend:

10-12 Oct: "Quad Peak Challenge" (NC, SC, TN, GA)
11 Oct: Kansas
13 Oct: New Mexico
13 Oct: Minnesota

It's a perfect weekend for a trip to the top of your local state.  We want to thank our volunteer trip leaders and we are looking forward to the uplifting stories and photos from Airmen hiking in seven states across the nation.
